Ars Technica has a good overview of iOS 7.1

Ars Technica

It feels like Apple has been taking its time with this one, weighing different options and attempting to address the harshest criticism of the new design without the deadline pressure that comes with a major release.

There are some interesting changes in this version of the OS. It can (and will) be argued some of these should have been in the first version of iOS 7 and some (like the Shift Key issue) have only created more, if temporary, confusion.

What do you think? Did you notice these changes? Do they matter to you? Do they work for you? Let me know in the comments.
